Overcoming the Barriers to Decarbonization
Decarbonizing industries is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, requiring collaboration across diverse sectors, stakeholders, and geographies. The path to achieving sustainability is complex and involves countless interconnecting pieces, and successful projects require full alignment of multiple decision-makers and cross-functional teams. Yet, these critical connections are often fragmented, delaying progress and limiting impact.

2017

Founded as Companies for Net Zero

Scott and Dave had a vision to unify various decarbonization initiatives under a single roof, founding Companies for Net Zero.

2020-2022

Focused on Digital due to Covid

We took a different approach and focused on Digital activities, streaming multiple podcasts and webinars, some of which were tuned-in by over 800 people.

2024.05

Rebranded to Decarb Summits

After careful consideration we realized that Companies for Net Zero does not reflect the evolved nature of our platform. A decision to rebrand to Decarb Summits was made.

2019.09

First summit held

Our first summit focused on recycling and tracking supply chains was held in Newark, New Jersey and was attended by industry leaders such as Intel, Subaru and Johnson Controls.

2024.02

First summit outside of NYC

We held our first summit on "Financing and Policy for Decarbonization" in DC, which shortly after was followed by a summit in LA, bringing Decarb to the West Coast.

2024.06

Reached 50 members

We have earned the continuous trust of industry leaders and continue to grow with confidence.

Our Founder
Meet Our Visionary Founder
After years of running Wall Street conferences, I saw firsthand how invite-only meetings with decision-makers could accelerate the launch of impactful ventures. Decarbonization, with all its complexities, needed the same approach to bring projects to life. The idea for a membership platform was further reinforced when I saw a friend transform a small composting service in New Jersey into a thriving business serving thousands - proof that with the right vision and collaboration, sustainable solutions can scale and become commercially successful
